i'm pretty sure a 5" backspace will do it. i will be running 275-40-17 on all four corners. i'll have a set for road racing w/slicks and a set for the street, especially with each rim being less than 100 bucks. sweet!!!!

well guys i think i have decided, but still not sure. my monye flow is going great. the job is relaly paying off for me. This paycheck i get i'm buying 4 feet of neoprene(wet suit material) for my headliner. Gonna recover that thing ina never before done material. ITs gonna be awesome. But... these wheels decisions are a hard decision. there are so many, and i want to be original at the same time. i just cant decide. but i like this set of cragars, but at the same time i wanted a spoty look, not a drag look. I dont want snypers anymore, already been done to many times. Research is hard when you work 4-10, and school before it(which i'm in now). but it is rewarding, the fact that every week i'll be getting a $150 check for my car.
i like cragar SS wheels, i love them. and i love the fact that if i get them i can rotate all tires because they are the same offset. But SS wheels are quite expensive. I realize its better to spend a lot of monye now, then to be disatisfied with my wheels later and do it again. Its for the best. I need to find a set of rims.
my idea for my car is to be most original, not like anyone elses car. i want a traditional look but to separate it from the rest.
I also need an opinion from you guys, i think that bare aluminum wheels match the color of the car better then anything else. see flyinlow89's car below with ROH zs wheels.
thanks,
shane

Going to look at these wheels tonight...if they are in as good of shape as all the pics he has sent me...they will be coming home to sit on my Bright Blue Metallic (23) 87 Formula 350. I have been looking for a good set of these for a while. And they have Nitto's and Pirelli 275's on them already....

No ones posted the ZR1 style wheels yet, so heres mine, the traditional yet appealing 17x9.5 ZR1/SS style wheels. you said you were looking for something cheap... got these off ebay for $510.00 shipped, thats wheels and new tires! i thought it was a steal, and yes they are gm stamped... :lala:
