no zo6 rims are made for a thirdgen yet. To run they u need to get adaptors to get the correct offset. I think ive seen replicas on ebay . so check the bay.

Is there a rim with a 10 spoke design that fits thirdgens? Preferably in black?

OE concepts makes a Z06 rim in black with rivets around it, I dont know if it's available without rivets, but here it is

http://www.oeconcepts.com/2004/z06rivets.html

their for a vette so you'd still need adapters.

You are probably going to have to get the backspacing custom made for the thirdgen. Lots of companies do custom backspacing. Find a wheel you like and call the company and see if they can do it.

very few cast wheels fit a thirdgen. custom backspacing in a cast wheel would run you a fortune. just either build a set of billet wheels or go with the heavier cast wheels like oe concepts makes but then be prepared to pick up adapters to bolt them to your hubs.

If you get the rims with the rivets, do you need special tires? Hows that work?

the rivets are FAKE....typically a wheel with rivets has rivets because it's a 3 piece wheel which means if you damage a wheel while racing you can remove the rivets and put a new face on. this is also unique for show cars that want to change things up a few years down the road. you just purchase a new face for a fraction of what a new wheel would cost and off you go.

for cast wheels like the z06 they are purely for looks and don't mean anything. either way rivets do not change how you use your tires. just a difference between riveted to the barrel or welded like a 2 piece wheel.

in a cast wheel they are basically molded on or in an easier sense glued on but without glue since that wouldn't hold.

The rivets look mean on C5's... cant imagine they would look bad on a third gen

I'm a fan of rivets, but I have fewer rivets then the Z06 pictured.....But the rivets i like are chrome with the wheels....

A little dirty....Pictures like these only highlight the need for me to get 13" baer brakes.....
