Pictures of my New paint!!
Ok, I finally got pictures of my newly repainted car. I did all the body work and painted it my self. I did it at school (first year autobody repair & refinishing, at a local college). Asside from the visible orange peel
I can at least sand and polish it after I have a job... But for now I think it does look pretty good for my first time.
Below is one picture. But here is a link to several 1024x768 pictures. Enjoy!

Looks great, get gold GTA mags and its perfect
i thought you said there wasn't any orange peel???

anyhow aside from that, i think you did a great job and it looks much better in the pic above. looks like you learning pretty well and the fact you did it yourself would make many overlook the slight amount of orange peel. once you wet sand that thing a little more i bet it will be fine.

nope.. there is some.. just the hood has the least.. someday it'll be orange peel free.. unless I run out of clear of course. But The paint job is only to tide it over until I can to the "official" ground up redo. Thanks for the comments .. with some luck a future employer will see some potential and hire me.

Very nice job. Why does it look like someone ran down the side of it with something? I just noticed that, it runs from the driverside rear wheel to the front. I cant be a reflection because of the trees.

Thanks guys. Yup in the picture here, the line you see is the top of the fence. Orange Peel is just that. If you actually look at the skin of an orange it has a funny looking texture. The result of a paint job not done right (which has several causes) you wind up with a texture in the end result that looks very similar to that of an orange peel (skin). OEM paint jobs from factory can usually have a slight amound of orange peel.
