i got the side ground effects all i need is the rear bumper and front bumper , now my guestions are is or was there two type of the ground effects made, i think 85 splits the years, i got 85 and above ground effects or so i belive, and is there any diffrence between the gta and trans am ground effects ,allso in the year one parts book for third generation cars, they sell the bumper covers, is that all i have to do is just change the cover and leave all the internal stuff alone, i have a 89 firebird fomula so anyone know, i know you guys are wonderin why i want to put them on a formula well i have to i have a pretty bad passeger side dented sail panel or the part under the door, so i have to hide it , plus i like the look so why not, but im still keeping the formula 350 on the door, so the car will stay true at heart, lol , well if anyone knows my answers above thanks,

 

The gfx are the same,,,the only difference is the GTA had solid front fenders and the trans-am had the cutout/vent thing behind the front tire in the fender,,,other than that,,,no differance

you will need to weld or bolt on a reinforcement (depending on how you make it) for the gfx that covers the rocker (sail) panel so you have something to attach it too
