Ok, i have an 89 formula with manual cloth seats, i would like to upgrade to forth gen leather, but the seats im looking at are power, is there a way to wire them in? Should i just look for manual adj, seats, were any made between 93-2000? Thanks Jimmy

All the power seats I've encountered just have a negative and positive wire. So hookup is easy. As a matter of fact usually there is wiring already there sometimes hidden under the carpeting or the console for power seats already. I don't think GM ran 2 different harnesses for power and nonpower seats they just tucked the wires away.

Hey Jimmy, did you ever have any luck with this? I want to get rid of my non-power seats that came with my RS!

I put them in my car with no problem at all. The connector on the 4th gen seats was different then the third gen. I just removed the plug from the old seats and put it on the new. Looks great and they are more comfortable than the original

I havent had a chance to install any yet. I just havent had to money to buy any seats. I would love to get some nice grey leather 4th gen seats, but since school is back in, money is tight. Hmm, since i dont already have power seats, ill have to search for that wireing that Karps Ta is talking about. Thanks for all the great info. Later, Jimmy

Does anyone know a place to get good quality seats other than from a wrecked car at a yard?
