PRO TOURING f-bodys.....
I think an SC would look good with a 2" drop and some 17's. You could run a 275 on the stock IROC rim, but I do not know if anyone has made one. They do make a 295/50R16 and you can mount them on a 8" rim, looks a little buldged though. I have a set of those that I used to have on my IROC. All that sidewall kinda defeats the purpose of pro touring.

Like to think I was sorta Pro-Tour, 17 in wheels, T-56,HSR, tubular k-member, springs, etc, or maybe just a nice street car.

Re: PRO TOURING f-bodys.....

In that case, since it's already bumped...I'll have a pretty potent pro-touring-ish car when my swap is done. I'd already done most of the suspension work that I plan on doing, except I will upgrade the shocks to something better (QA1's most likely), it's already got Hotchkis springs, adjustable phb, LS1 brakes all around, subframe connectors, etc. I also plan on putting a 6 point cage in it down the road. But as far as having a good handling car with power, this would be it. I'm almost to the point in the swap where I can put the new motor mounts in place and drop it in there, a nasty 6.0L LSX with Texas Speed's MS4 cam, forged pistons and rods, and all the goodies for the valvetrain, and will have a T56 to boot.

Re: PRO TOURING f-bodys.....
I'm hoping to build mine up to a pro touring car too. Has anyone ever heard of the Camaro Mustang Challenge? It's a National AutoSport Association class. I thought it would be pretty cool to do that. Has anyone got a car for that?

Yes i've heard of it, and i've heard of the F-Body vs. Mustang shootout. It's not autocross or protouring though...it's drag racing.

Re: PRO TOURING f-bodys.....
That's not a Camaro rear end, it's got the side marker lights on the quarter panels like a Pontiac would. What part of it was photochopped? The wheels? Personally, I think that's one of the best looking Pontiacs I've seen, those wheels without having a spoiler look really good.

Re: PRO TOURING f-bodys.....
They look like something found on a porsche. Thinking the 993 911 GT2. I'm trying to find the specific rim model.
Possible hits are the BBS Techno line-8 GT, or the Tuner Line-26 LM wheels
But most likely are the Race wheels, go to www.bbs-usa.com and click on Race Wheels, then Descriptions and Photos. They'll be on the bottom left.

Little update, shaved the side markers, other wheels (Rota p45r in bronze)
The color I am using is NH-0 (Championship White from Honda type-R models)
I will post pics off the REAL car once the roll-bar is painted so you get the idea!

Re: PRO TOURING f-bodys.....
You mean the BBS wheels are that much more than the ugly ones in the second photochop? I would keep shopping then, because the last ones don't look like they belong on a 3rd gen, more like a Skyline or 240SX....

I'm also thinking of doing my A-pillar in black like 4th gens have it because I hate the way my C&C T-tops meet the A-pillar. Black would hide it appearance wise.

Dude, that hood scoop mod is bad ***. I might have to steal that idea. What size are those crosslace wheels in the pic, is that real? they look like 18" or so. Very nice car, GTAs f'in rule.

I thought I was the only one trying to put import wheels on a domestic. None of the Volks or Rotas come in 5x120 though, so my search continues...

Not that bad I think
