Do the 86-87 iroc wheels have black lines going between or is that all aluminium. mine seems to have a black line look but im not sure if thats all aluminum or it needs to be restored with the color? it even looks like a solid grey color. If so should i carefuly paint it back on there or what? thank u

the stock color is like a light grey. Alot of people on TGO have painted them with a variety of colors. I think the best colors would be either black or a metallic graphite .....I like the metallic graphite because they look black if you look directly at them...but when they are exposed to the sunlight..they twinkle a little and have a very dark cast to them...and look amazing..

My brother has a set on his 87 Z28 and I just used spray paint out of a can...masked the wheels all up, sanded the area, prepped it...and painted. As simple as that...and they look great...very tasteful

here is a picture of his 87 Z28, I used graphite metallic on them

thanks alot man, I'll make sure to tell my brother. I haven't gotten around to sanding his wheels yet....but what I did was strip all of the clear coat off the wheels, then polished them with mothers aluminum polish...worked great. Here is a picture of my car

perfect dude perfect. Thats a mean 350. I have mine in the recycler so i can get a 305 or 350. you have done a great job to your car. Its hard to sell somthing that you put so much time and $ into. you must plan on keeping it. But great work that is real art. your a good artist. thanks for the advice.
