spoilers

does anyone know if the tall 3pc spoilers from the 70-73 camaro's and firebirds would fit on our cars. I love the look of those tall spoilers, and they look better, IMO, than the new 5in 3rd gen spoiler and they would be a little more affordable from a junkyard for example. Anyone know the dimensions of the rears of the early 2nd gens as compared to the third gens, or, i hate to ask, maybe someone could play around with photoshop, since i don't have it.

Infact i'll even set teh stocker up there to show you the difference

TEh angles are totally wron on the second gen, because the decklids are way different, i tried this when i had my bird a few years ago, ended up gettign pisssed and gave up.

last with the stock one next to it, the stocker goes back more than up teh hawks goes up and back, looks awesome and goes perfect with the 4" cowl hood i have, Perfect example of my ghost stripes too, on that last one you cant see the stripe that runs up and down the spoiler and down the back end

Lol i was actually going to ask about that soon, mine had a small hairline crack at the top and on one of the end pieces, when i painted it i had just used duplicolor and apparnelty it hadnt sealed it at all so when i took it off for the painter it was half full with freakin water along with the end one, looks like they jsut didnt get it together great at the seam or something, sanded it down and did a little fiberglass work and it is good and sealed now, i actually took it off tonight after about a week of raining and is is bone dry inside, did drill a small drainhole at each end though to drain it. I',m gonna call hawks one of these days and give him a little heads up about it so they can correct it.
