Very important announcement
In case you didn't read the "Attention: All board users" thread for some reason, here it is:
Hello everyone,
I would say that a good majority of you are familiar with the rules by now and for the most part, things have been running okay. But Josh and I have noticed an increasing number of off-topic posts in recent weeks. So this post is just to remind everyone, especially our newer members who may not have had a chance to read the rules post, about the rules here on thirdgen.org and this board.
This board is for Detailing and Appearance of third generation Camaros and Firebirds. This includes detailing techniques, detailing products, appearance altering modifications such as stripes, rims, spoilers, hoods, etc. If it isn't about a third generation Camaro or Firebird, don't bother posting it please.
If you would like a Photoshop, please use the Photoshop request board. If you have questions about your interior, please use the Body and Interior board. If you are selling an item, use the classifieds.
The word filters are there for a reason, not for people to try and come up with other ways of getting around them. Keep it clean guys, its not that hard.
Also, there is a limit to three uploaded images per thread. Uploaded images are the ones posted using the "Attach file" feature. If your images are hosted elsewhere, post as many as you'd like (assuming they are approriate, of course).
Finally, some people have re-started the "IBTL" stuff from about two years ago. If you are adding nothing to the thread, don't post. Simply saying "this will be locked" adds nothing. While many here are quick to inform a poster that their thread will be locked, very few actually click the "Report this post" link to bring it to our attention quicker. We cannot be on the boards all the time, therefore reporting the post helps us a great deal.
This does not mean that all other rules are no more. This is just covering some things we've started to see again. Repeated violations of these rules can and will result in probation/banning. As always, please direct any questions or comments you may have to Josh or I via PM. Thank you for the read, and enjoy!
