I want to cut the back part of my fiberglass hood. (ASCD Ram Air hood) I just want to cut it .5 inch from the top and just cut the part of the hood that raises up on the winsheild. Do u think it would crack? Has anyone cut fiberglass hoods before and if u have, have u done a ASCD hood before? Thanks. This is what it looks like.



I am cutting the back part where it rises onto the winsheild, giving me a cowl induction effect.

Shouldn't be a problem. Make sure to smooth everything out with files and sandpaper to avoid starting "stress cracks." I have to cut a bunch of my hood (USBody Ram Air II) to open up the nostrils and haven't had any problems.
