Seat Belt button Replacement? Can this be done???

I thought the buttons on the 3rd gen seatbelts could be replaced with a currently available kit? Where can I find this kit anb how do you do it?

i found my kit on ebay . It has all the instructions and things needed. It came out great on mine, they looked to bad at first and all faded and pink. Now thier nice and red.

couldnt you just replace the whole peice where the button is? its only one bolt holding it in, also how much is the kit?

The seat belt button kit is still available from GM. It costs $5.23 and the part # is 14097930. Don't buy it on ebay they want $25.00 for it.

I saw those on ebay...does the GM part include the little tool to help remove the button?

No, you don't get the tool with them.
