Finally!

Merry Christmas everyone (little late i know) but i was waiting to upload my pics and i can now....

finnally i actually have a reason to post here cause i now own a camaro! Was a present from my dad after 4 years of wanting a 3rd gen...and was the best day of my life when he opened the garage door for me to see it.

its a '92 z28 L98/350 25th anniversery edition...car has 102k miles on it and every option that i know of other then leather seats...power seats/windows/locks has a 3.23 posi i absolutely love this car! It handles and accerates amazing

has new paint not one ding in the whole car as i plan to keep it that way! Everything is working but could use a few things. I just ordered new floormats and rear sway bar links from classic industries that broke the same day i got the car from my older brother pushing the car to hard on ****ty roads around here and it just snapped the link it half but that will be fixed soon.

First plans are to get everything mechanically running in mint condition. Changed the oil today and am doing a coolant and trans flush this weekend. And also getting this fuel induction cleaning thing done to it and a front end alignment from a freind up at my work. The car needs new exhaust from the cats back (has new cats) as its rusting out with leaks in it so its gonna get new 3" pipe, flowmaster muffler, and dual tips soon. Im doing the red tailight mod tommaro cause its suppose to warm up. The whole car is stock other then the rims that i know of.

I have to pay for anything that breaks and all the maintanance for the car. Any upgrade i do im paying. Eventually ill pay my dad off for the whole car little by little....

I dont know what more to say then i am more then happy with this car! now enough typing here are the pics tell me what you guys think!

Any comments, questions, or suggestions feel free! as id like to know as much as i can about the car and whats the best things to do for it

freind hosted the pics for me.... http://www.skunk.zerobrains.com/Camaro/Camaro.htm

sorry for typing so much

That is the best color scheme ever on a Camaro!

Please do not ruin the car by painting the headlight buckets. Your car has nothing black on it and it would look aweful with black buckets with red stripes.

The only reason I did it was because I have black stripes just as yours but black on a red car.

That is the best looking Camaro I have seen in a long time. The body is perfect and the paint is nice...The car barley needs anything?

As I was going to tell you I have some factory 91,92, Z28 wheels in near perfect condition silver with white inlays that would go perfect on their! My car is now RED so I'm looking to sell them maybe? That would make that car complete! Email me...

Beautiful car... Check mine out when you get a chance!!!Click on my webpage link!

shes really dirty...tommaro im gonna start the detailing!

engine is hideous

also for headlight buckets how do u paint them? is it do-able with rattle cans and what not? or do most people get it professionally done...btw i hate front license plates!

edit- shawn18jgr - im acually gonna keep the wheels as the 5 star cragars where always my favroite and dont really look outdated on this car as many people think...though they are 16s they look more like 15s

Have it professionally done...Do em in RED if you do that would be sweet!

I would leave it though! Seriosly its not gonna make any difference but possibly worse to your car.

The front licenese plate bracket comes off easy...Take the plate off take the bolts out and the bracket off and you should have a nice bowtie underneath!

I know you said you're keeping the rims, but that'd be the first thing to go if it was me- they make your car look a lot older than it is. Other than that it's a nice car. Have fun with her

Welcome to the board (again) Steve... and for real this time.

You now are the owner of a driving experience unique to us all. Treasure it. Keep it in one piece. Only we understand the true value in what you have. Loan the keys to Cadillac in CA. He is to be trusted. We love the Camaro/Firebird legend.

When I wave my hands you will remember none of this conversation except the loanin' the keys part.

ya im not to much of a fan of the red i as i plan to change it over to black in the future...seats have no rips but i might look for some new camaro seats in the future. Got black floormats comin. First thing to do on the interior is some how make it rattle proof i cant turn the volume past 20 without the thing rattleing like crazy...sounds really bad.

I should prolly search around the interior board but isant there a paint used that i could paint the red pieces of the interior? all i know is i used some stuff on my old truck and that stuff scratched off with ur fingernail.

when i painted the pieces on my last vehicle (Dodge Daytona) i sprayed a few of the pieces inside. I did a few coats of red, and sandedc it to perfection. After that i did 3 coats of clear and never had a problem of scratching.

Looks nice but you DO need to paint the headlight pockets black, just doesn't look right. Also if you really like Crager wheels I do believe they sell them in larger sizes, those 15s makes your Z look old. It makes it look like you swapped '92 Z28 body pieces/trim to a '82 Z28.Sorry but that's the way I see it.

Werd! It would look plain silly with black headlamp buckets. It looks nice and clean now, I would leave it alone! If you want to make some changes, change the wheels. JMHO...

VERY cool...and Merry Christmas. That car is gorgeous!

...I don't think Camaros look right without black headlamp pockets. JMHO I rattle canned mine on my old 86 and no one knew the difference, just mask it off real well.

damn how can u guys not like these wheels! classic muscle car look i think.

once i have money and maybe in a year or so ill get some nice 17s or 18s im happy with what i got now.

I cant really see how u would think its an 82...different hood, tailights, spoiler, gfx, and the 25th stripes...with the badging...would u think if i had TT2s it would still look like an '82 with all those things? dunno but if thats how u see it then ok

future mods - not really mods...but other then new exhaust soon ...gonna get some k&ns and an airfoil. new headers prolly in the near future too...id like to get the white dash gauges as id think thatd go good with the white/red theme

once everything is running how i want it and its cleaned up ill start planning for real mods...

i appreciate all the compliments and suggestions

ill keep ya guys updated with all my progress

That's NOT what I meant AT ALL.. What I was saying was that, being the wheels make the car look old,it's as if someone that had an '82 had decided to add '92 Z28 body parts/trim to it.It jsut makes the car look old.I didn't mean that it looks like an '82.

...TT2s would look better than Cragars.

agreed, the 91-92's look much better with 17's or 18's IMO...the smaller the wheel...the more it outdates the car

Very Clean car. The original owner is on www.worldwidecamaro.com I think he lives in Illinois or Alabama im not sure which. I can vouch for the car though it is very clean and you will not be disappointed.

Congrats on the car! I say do whatever you want to it, as long as it makes you happy. If it runs hot consider a lower temp thermostat and fan switch.
