91 Formula,,,spoiler or no spoiler??

check out some new pics of my bird with out the spoiler and my new license plate frame. my old spoiler was damaged during the hurricanes and even tho my friends have told me it looks better without it, i still cant get used to seeing it spoiler-less. ill be putting another one on soon.

could either post, or PM about how you removed the spoiler? because it will prolly be similar to the 86-90 areo wing.

yea, it does look pretty good without a spoiler. Different, thats fer sure. Kinda like a vette, sans spoiler.

But whats up with those mudflaps ?
BTW, nice ride man.

I think think those spoilers are what make the car look so bad a$$ they give the car that mean look.Yet they're not big and ugly.

But its all in the eye of the guy that owns the car, thats the way you like it by all meens leave er like she is.I'd do something with the holes though just so you dont have to worry about the water problems

I don't think it looks right without it. Since you have the 91 nose I think the another spoiler like you had on there would be perfect with powerbulge hood. You have to remember that all of the pieces work together with whatever you do.

Same.

It COULD work very well if you did other "cleaning work", like pulled the molding, badges and mud flaps, and shaved the gas cap.
Thats a lot of work tho....

again, just my $1.95

4th gen wrap around..? I guess that wasn't an option, put one back on it or hid the exhuast and lower it a bit.

Ok people camaro's will always look ok without a wing they dont have much of wing from the factory other then the hi rise. A camaro and a firebird are totall different looks wise u cant compare the way that both look without a wing. The firebirds or trans ams look naked or like part of their *** got chopped off without a wing.

I think that all birds look better w/ a spoiler.....it gives it a more aggressive look without giving it that **** burner cheese.

I think the rear spoler looks meaner than without!
I say put one back on!
You can always buy a replacement hatch without a spoiler from the junk yards and paint it to match.
Than, just switch back and forth when you want!

4th Gen style spoiler. I have one on the project and it is awesome. If you are planning on modding the car's exterior further like putting a ram air II hood on it then definitely get the 4th gen style spoiler. Maybe not if you go with a ram air I hood.

If keeping it mostly stock exterior then get the 91-92 Trans Am aerowing spoiler.

edit: nevermind you got a spoiler already
