buy you a 40 dollar hose cover kit like I got, they are made by Taylor, and are available in different colors.

Clean them real good with something like Simple Green. Then use tire shine product on them. I would not use Armour All as it tends to dry out rubber.

you can also use rattle can clear, not sure how long it last but we used to do this on used cars for that new engine look, after a good cleaning you clear all the parts plastic and rubber and it has a shiney new look.

Clean the hoses real well and apply this stuff called 303 Protectant. This stuff won't attract dirt and grime the way silicone does. You can get it at Ace Hardware stores.
You can use it on your weatherstrip too.

Have not tried the 303 yet...have a sample from a car show...will give it a try next show!
