Refinishing WHeels
Refinishing WHeels
Ok cars in storage and the have the spare tire ready....The wheels have been polished before and have no clear coat on the aluminum parts..I do not know about the painted parts. So should I use clear coat remover just in case? What colour are the grey wheels? Code? Thanks for the help

I stripped my wheels down to bare aluminum. Used some nasty paint stripper and steel wool (very coarse steel wool, if fine is 00 and super fine is 000 this is like 100!)
Then I polished the shiney parts, taped and painted the inserts. I just picked a color I wanted, not sure of the original code. I just cleared them today and they look great.
