Tire?'s

Would a 295/50r 16 size tire fit on the 16 inch iroc rims?

No. Even if you could manage to get it on, it would not be safe at all.

thats like really wide . My dad has 275 , 70 15s , i think if you had a large sidewall you could go with a 275 on the 8 inch rim .

I threw one on my car, when i worked at a tire shop, cuz we had an extra laying around and i wanted to see if it'd fit.
It will fit the rim, but it wont be safe. and it looks kinda funny with the tire sticking that far past the rim. From what i hear, your not sapose to go any bigger than 2". meaning a 10" wide tire on an 8" rim. any bigger is considered unsafe. plus, even when i put the rim and tire on the car, it rubbed every TINY corner you take. it hardly fits in the fenderwell. good luck with your choice...

hell, 295's on a 8 inch rim? To me , the stock 245 already looks too wide for me. I think a 225 looks best on a 8 inch rim (235 maybe, if you go for euro/us tire brand).

actually it is possible just get some deep dish wheels and some extension arms for the rear end and they should go on there pretty good but i dont know how good it will look. i have a 2 inch extension on my car so the wheels will sit right under the edge of the fender so u dont have them in so far.
