Polish it and zoop seal it. Expensive but worth it - might not even be that bad compared to the price of powdercoating.

Black/Charcoal/Gunmetal

Weren't you planning on painting your car at some point with the silver going higher up the body? Choose a darker silver and match it with the tpi.

polishing will need maintenance, chroming wont... as specially in the engine bay, with the heat, and dust, and such.

Like he said, polishing it would require a lot of maintenance. I have my intake powdercoated mirror black and I polished the fins and the fuel rails. Its a pain just keeping those looking good, I couldn't imagine keeping a TPI setup clean when its polished.

Polish and Zoop seal it if you want the Chrome/Polished look.

If you want some Color have it coated.

Red/Black/Yellow/Black Chrome/Gunmetal Grey

all looks good.

A polished TPI is truly awesome, but I've seen countless "decent" looking engine bays with flawlessly polished TPI's and it looks stupid. It's like wearing a suit and tie to a backyard barbecue. Now if you plan on going the distance and making your engine bay a showstopper, then full polish is pretty cool.

I chose cast grey. I've always been a less is more guy.

My vote is for polish It's really not alot of maintenance, I just hit mine with mothers right before a show and call it good...takes like 5 mins. at the most.....of coarse it helps not to have all those pesky ribs in the way

I'd say polish because it would be the cheapest (if you did it yourself of course) with the most noticable results. I like TPl383's recommendation of using Zoop seal to make maintenance easier.

406; What kind of spacer is that on your a/c box? Is that to let you use the larger a/c blower with the smaller non a/c box?

Yup, I just made it out of some aluminum plate we had laying around. Worked out nice.

How thick did you have to make it to fit the blower in there? Or was it obvious once you got the box and blower together?

if you chrome it, then you'll eventually turn blue. if you polish it and do basic maintenance which most people would with such you'll be fine. if you polish it and leave it sit for a year you'll have your hands full for sure.

i'd paint it before powdercoating it.

If you have the Inside ceramic coated 1st and Then the outside Chromed You wont have the Blue problem.

Ive done Harley Davidson Pipes on the inside befor they get chromed because of this.

a TPI doesnt get hot enough to turn that blue to begin with.
Headers Yes. and Again Ceramic coat the inside 1st. helps a TON..

Orr89RocZ,

PM me and I'll give you a price. PM me on what you want done and what color.
