Salt + Draglites = Mess

We had a harsh winter here in Virginia this year. I tied not to drive when they salted the roads but this is my daily driver and I had to drive to work in it a couple of times. This is what happens when you don't was them right after!



but today i decided to see what Mother Incredible Biullet would do and now they look like this!

I have to do the same to mine. heres a tip, after you use your polish, wax them with a good quality was, I use mothers deep crystal, i think thats what it is its in a black can. You have to use a paste wax tho, they work better. and i havnt polished my wheels in months, and i wash the car off now and take a rag and clean the wheels everything comes off, and looks like i just poished them. Just a tip i read on a mustang forum.

are they polished alum or chrome?

i have driven in the snow once this year got nailed iwht a salt truck twice and driven after roads were dry witht he dry salt on the ground.. the day i got hit with the salt truck my car was white the next day so i went at it with a wet rag and towel my rims still shined but they are chrome

tell me about that salt! im up north of you but are streets were covered in the white...

i didnt drive my car more then 3 times throughout all of are snow...
