Help with racing rims, please!
I need a little help here. I did a search and didnt find what I was looking for.
I want to be able to run my new Pro Stars without changing the studs off the rearend and front end. Right now the studs will not be long enough to thread the lug nut on with the Pro Stars. And I do not want to change to longer studs because I will no be able to run my GTA rims on them with the black caps. I would have to cut a hole in the caps to put them on, or run the GTA rims without them and have long studs sticking out through.
What do I do??

When I had my Weld Draglites I had to use a set of lugnuts that go down to the studs I cant remember what the style of lugnuts is called but im sure that somone could tell you. They are really just regular lugnuts with a longer skinnier extension on the threaded side to thread onto the short studs without changing them you have to use them with all of Welds rims when not changing your studs so if you go to a parts store they should know exactly what I am talking about.

Sent you a PM
Basically, if you have stock studs, you would need a "shanked" ( i beleive thats what its called) lug nut.
Our cars take the 12x1.5 size, mine are made by Weld.
