As long as you're not going with obscenely thick adapters you should be alright. By "obscenely" I am referring to those "homies" with the wheels sticking half the width of the tire out of the wheel well - looking like a squat beetle with Big Wheel tires. I've got adapters on my car that are 2 1/4" thick in the front and 1 1/4" in the rear and haven't had any problems. Talk to Andris at www.skulte.com, he makes adapters and can answer any questions or concerns.
