87 firebird Taking off rear bumper???help

the paint on my back bumper is like peeling in places so i'm gonna have to get it repainted, but it looks like that thing might be kinda hard to get off....or does it come off? if neone knows how, the help would be awesome, thanks

you have to tear appatrt some of the interior in the trunk there should be 3 or 4 bolts on each side near the quarters. cant remeber the size and a series of black retaining clips on the bottom under the car

inside the car there a 3 10mm nuts on each side, then those black push nut deals are under tail lights and the bottom of the car. then the cover comes right off
