widest 15" tire width?
Im running the originanal 15x7 alum. rims on my 84z, I like them but was wondering what would be the widest/safest width tire I could have put on these rims without having big sidewall bulge that shouldnt be there?

i have a 275/60/15 tire on mine, but i wouldn't consider it the smartest, safest way or the way with the least sidewall. it's pretty big. and i am upgrading to a 10" wide rim as soon as posssible. however, i know people are putting 255/50's on them without much issue. the 235/60 is a stock size tire and it looks really good on that rim. it's about 8" wide (the tire).

appreciate the info on the tires, I like bigger tires and rims as long as their not hanging out of the wheel wells. The look of these factory rims I like alot and I felt that if I could put alittle bit wider tire on them it would really make a dif.

a friend of mine put 295 50s on his, LOL you can stand on the side wall but it drives and they look killer from behind the car.
