Dear Sir,

I just bought a lowering spring from eBay for my V6 firebird, my friend told me if I still use the stock shocks, the lowering spring may jump out while the bad road, is that true? I can't find and offer the adjust shock for my car....

Do I really need LCA ? pls help!

No thats not true. You can run lowering springs and stock shocks. The worst thing that can happen is if the shock is dead, it allows the suspension to bottom out and rub or scrape aginst the bumpstops (or if those are bad, the chassis). The springs will not fly out of the pockets. You do not need adjustable shocks for lowering springs.

Stock LCA's are good for street. If you race the car, then think about aftermarket.
