Heritage Pinstripes! HELP!

Okay, my father and I are going to my Uncle's body shop next week to paint it. Red with black Heritage stripes. We were experimenting today with some 1/4" vinyl tape for the pinstripe around the main stripes, and discovered that the tape is not flexible enough to make the bend at the end of the stripes!

So, do any of you know what I could use to tape off the pinstripes?

I circled in green the troublesome bend...

I am assuming you are trying to paint the pin stripe also. If you are trying to get the corner rounded properly and have a 1/4 inch gap, try 1/8" vinyl pinstriping tape (usually blue in color) and double it up. It turns corners A LOT easier and is easy to pull off after your paint has flashed....
