1/2" or 1" drop, help me out
Alright, i have a 90 firebird, grey. I want to lower it, but i'm not sure how much. I think 2" would be too much, and i haven't seen many pics of just the half inch drop. If you guys could post pics of cars that are lowered less than two inches i'd really appreciate it. And let's not let this one get outta hand like the last post on lowering camaros :-). Thanks.

Honestly, you probably have seen third gens dropped 1/2"s or maybe even 1". You probably didn't know it. Diferent veiws can make a car look lower or higher. When I dropped my Elcamino, at first, it didn't even look lower, and I took a full coil off. Then I took another off, and it then it looked low. Just a thought.

If you are going performance try getting in contact with Eibach and Billstein they make very high quality/performance lowering combos. If you are not going all out performance you should keep in mind that lowering a car will give a stiffer ride and bottom out a lot.

www.groupawheels.com has Eibach Pro-kit/Tokico shock kit. The Eibachs lower about 1.25". I don't have any pictures.

I have the Jamex springs, dropped 1 1/2" all around. The BMR springs are comparable to Jamex as they are not available anymore. See them here. http://www.bmrfabrication.com/bmr/index.htm
