get a cleaner wax, megs has a cleaner wax , and it has some abrasives in it to get rid of water spots and stuff . It will work and then just wax or polish the car with whatever you normally use.

Well, maybe I'm a retard, but if Megs means Meguiars, we sure do have it. Crappy Tire has all kinds of the various Meguiars products.
Sorry about the spots man. My advice is to never, ever go to a machine wash. I learned the hard way with my old maro. I went through once, the air dryer that has the rollers on the bottom so that it rolls along your car, well, it definitely rolled along my car because it left two nice (near invisible, but enough to notice) stripes right down the middle. Could never get rid of them for the life of me.
When I wash, I use cold water only. And one of those lambskin or whatever the hell it is, mitts. No soaps of any kind. I don't let my car get crazy dirty so water is more than enough.
Sorry, thats not an aswer...but check out the Meguiars line of products, some pretty good stuff.
