i want to redo the rims on my 1991 z28 because theres white corrosion beggining to build up on them.i know to use paint remover to remove the old paint but what do i use to repaint them? is there a special clear coat and paint to use?

There's a company in California somewhere that refinishes damaged rims such as yours. I can't think of the name, but I'm pretty sure it's listed in the classifieds in the back of one of the auto magazines like Motortrend. Maybe they could give some advice.
