Whats the best way to remove water spots?
I just got my car back from getting painted and the guy said to try and get water spots out ASAP since the paint is still soft. Whats the best way to do? It rained all day today and it's supposed to rain all this week on and off.

Get just about any brand of quick detailer spray and some super soft micro fiber polishing cloths. Takes them right off and doesn't harm the fresh paint. We had to do the same thing with our black '00 Mustang GT when we put a new hood and bumper on it and it doesn't show any spots at all.
What ever you do, get them off before the spots have a chance to bake in the sun!

I had waterspots on my car after the paint job in the headlight sockets that got painted black. I didn't do anything beyond washing the car for months until about 3 months ago when I used the Meguier's 3 stage crystal system and it took out the water spots and the orange peel.
. . . great stuff.

I'm gonna give detailing spray with a microfiber towel a shot. I ordered a bunch of microfiber stuff yesterday but I wont' get it till friday. I don't want to wash it because I don't have my microfiber mitt yet.

Yea the detailing spray with microfiber did the trick. I just can't keep stuff out from behind the wheels, keeps picking up leaves and crap. I'm never gonna be able to keep the car clean.

Don't use the clay bar before you try less aggressive methods first. You always want to try the least aggressive method first and then work your way up until sucessful.
FYI Meguirs Final inspection #34 is essentially the same product as their Quick Detailer (less two ingredients) but is safe for body shop use. You can buy it in a 4 litre (gallon) jug allot cheaper than the quick detailer.
