wow you summed up exactly what im doin with my vette. even though my TA is a great car, its just not my vette. right now, the corvette is in storage for winter, and im saving funds for a 2-3000 dollar paint job. witch i will get a discount on because the painter is a family friend. but the paint job will have its own insurace, something i recomend to everyone with a custom job.
as of now, its in storage with no bumpers or doors on it, for bodywork sake. im making this car perfect (in my eyes) and i am glad someone else thinks like i do about their favorite car. oh the color im doin is KandyBrandyWine. if your lookin for a color for your car, you being anyone who reads this, i highly recommed this color. it looks so sweet. if i posted pics it wouldn't do it justice. and i highly agree with keeping the v-6 and doing mods to it. i would go inside the engine and upgrade it. that what i did to my vette. it cost me arround $5000 for the tranny and engine combo, but the weak L-82/225hp 350 is a demon now. it can withstand upto a 300hp shot of nitrous, which i plan a 200-250, just to help my 1/4 mile time. i say just upgrade all the internal parts, and you will get a load of kick out of that alone. dual exaust helps too, and sounds better. just dont do any fart pipes.

T-5 tranny. thank god, i couldnt stand an LG4 auto.
Plans for an LT-1 or LT-4,
also plans for dual flowmaster exaust.
Got a corvette when i was 16, paid for it myself, screwed the engine up (idiot light didnt work, and i trusted the guy when he said he just changed the oil), and it turned into a project car.
now my TA is my daily driver. not a bad one, but it needs to be faster.

Don't worry about fart pipes. I want it to sound like a powerful car, not a rice burning lawnmower!
