Hey guys.. Check out my site and take a look at my car, and gimmie some suggestions what one might do to it.. Right now I'm in the process of picking up a 350.. But main things I wanna know is, should I put blackouts back on the back or not.. The tail lights aren't the 92 originals because some chick rear ende me a while back (besides the tails can you tell?) I'm eventually going to buy the 92 lights again, but should I put them on, or just save them to say I have original pieces? I kind of like the 86 lights, gives it a unique look...

I would skip the blackouts personally.

Yeah, I bought them, front and back, and they were cool for a while. But I just outgrew them. Then I totaled it up, and came to the conclusion that it was just under a $100 better spent elsewhere. It doesn't accomplish much, it's out of style, the fronts vibrate in the wind and have a good chance of flying off, the rears add liability. The whole blackout thing is just played out in my opinion and it's money I'd rather spend elsewhere.
And as far as the taillights, I have the grid-style tail lights on my 89, which came with the black-bar type taillights. I like them much better, and they're brighter and cleaner looking. They came off my 86 which is currently sporting the 89's.. hehe.

 

Thank you for the black out suggestions.. I was thinking a lot about adding them or not, so chances are I won't now.. I wasn't really sure if I liked them all that much anymore.. might as well put that 100 towards something el;se.. I'm a little confused by the taillight thing, but that's only because I'm pretty much running to class in 2 seconds.. or Ill be late..

DAmn.. now I recall the day when my car hd the blackouts on them, and it did look good with them on.. AHHH what to do what to do.. I should put a voting booth up on my website and majority wins.. yeah that's what I'll do.. I'll do that when I get back from class.. hehe yeah class.. guess I shouldn't be doing this now eh??

if I put the black outs back, they are only going to be on the back becaus eI'm not a huge fan of the ones on the front of the car.. you know what I mean?

Personally, I think blackouts look really stupid, but what do I know I mean I own an import right?

But if you want the opinion of the non-domestic owners, blackouts are not very cool. Stay stock, and spend that 100 bucks on something else.

 

oh and definitely don't put them on the front that just looks dumb. Blackouts on the taillights look decent, but I hate how they look on the front
