I'm 19, so I am considered young. That is a disgrace. I would probably have to shoot the owner of such a car if I saw one. There is only one word to describe what comes to mind when I see that car: "FUKENUGLY"!

Well I'm 19 also, and I have to say that is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. I think any true f-body enthusiast will realize how ugly and how much of a disgrace that kit is, maybe other younger kids who don't really care about the car and just like the look will like it though. But personally I hate it.

Ok I think so far I'll be the youngest (17) to say its nasty lookin. I'v seen nicer early 3rd gen rusty cars than that. I think the young and old will agree how bad that is.

Well you asked now you shall receive. This is what the Predator kit looks like. I'm gonna take it one step further, I am going to add the Knight Rider nose to the GFX so it will really look unique. By the way that is not my car.

That doesn't look too bad actually. The wing on that bird in the picture is a bit too much for me though. I think I have seen one in town with that kit except they put corvette lights in the back but did a really bad job and makes the car look like crap. Lock, I don't think they makes those kits for camaros. I think those are for firebirds only.

They are for Camaro's & Firebird's. There is a member on this board who has a kit on his Camaro w/ that. Classic Industries sells the kit for $695. Hope I helped

I bought a pop-rivet-it-on-yourself body kit from JC Whitney.

It looks badass.

I think that these 2 cars look sweet.

Mike Harvey, you should put some 13" dayton triple gold rims with spinners on your car to complete it. And myabe bowleg it and put an air tank in the trunk so you can put hydros on it. THEN it would be phat yo.

Have you seen that group of ricers who congregate at the Pep Boys on Ritchie Hwy most nights - makes me sick.

Personaly, I dont like any ground effects on third gen camaros and firebirds, with the exception of the 91-92 style Z-28. All they do is add weight, drag, and screw up the nice curves of the f-body. Thats why the formulas were quicker than the T/As, not that I dont like trans ams, but its just an appearance package. BTW, that camaro is hideous.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT ON THE STREET!!! well wraped arround a pole anyway. i think you could do an agressive bumper and have it look good for our cars, but that one is defineatly not it! that one is suckin some major ****.

and ya know, the edit actually make it look better. i was suprised. still would like to see it arround a pole, but you could steal the wheels and sell em for an ok profit...

Uh. road rocket. are you kidding me? ground effects take away from a fbody? i love the gfx on my GTA, would look ugly without them. Guess it's just personal opinion, but I'd rather have my car, gfx, flashy hood, and all than a formula.. look too plain. you see formulas all the time. how often do you see a GTA compared to a formula.. oh well. im just babbling now. ( i love my car as it sits.) oh, and about the whole drag and slowing down idea. pure bs. the gfx from a car weigh what, 15 pounds max? i dont know about you, but ~.015 seconds isnt that big of a deal to me in the 1/4... my car is turning good enough ETs with it on there.

can't forget to put one off-centered bumper to bumper racing stripe in some putrid color that doesn't match...how's bright green sound? plus you'd have to put chrome trim on every possible seam and a huge nike swoosh or kenwood sticker on the rear window and a ton of "sponsor" decals on the fender...yeah, that'd be enough to make me want to kill

ok. that yellow camaro. if it was rolling around in my town. my best friend would bring out his BEATER FORD F150 ( with a 3.5x3.5" steel tube bumper) out to smash that thing to h*ll. and i would laugh. oops hit an run.. and they deserved it. actually there is a camaro around here that is looking into getting that gfx package. and he asked me about it and i laughed but i talked to our HP shop here.. and they said he came in with half the money wanting to order it. and he has a 15" wing to go with it.. hideous isnt it... but i though i might throw some of my .02 in. thanks all

That bird would look great if it had a normal trans am spoiler. I wonder what it would look like with corvette wheels. Those 4th gen ones like 96. Oh well. That maro is about as atractive as a 60 yr. old hooker.

the only thing keeping that camaro from being classified as a Honda is red ground FX, 200% more stickers, projector beam headlights, Yellow rims, and Z3 style finned fenders....oh yeah , and bright yellow seat belt pads

If I saw it comin' at me in real life...I would probably be so frightened that I'd scream like a little bitch and run and hide. I can picture me in therapy: "It was awful...it was terrible...looked like a mix between Jaws and Tweety bird on Acid...I didn't know what to do...Hell, I **** on myself..." SERIOUSLY though, I'm all for an aftermarket fr/Rr bumper kit if it was tastefully done. Something that gives us better cooling and a chance to show off an aluminum radiator, uses modern technology materials for the tail-lights and projection headlight/foglight lenses. I'M NOT SAYING a frog-like fascia like the 98 up camaro's but something more subtle like what Meier Racing offers for early mustangs..a good example is "Eleanor" the 67 Stang in Gone In 60 Seconds. Something like this could be done for our cars..a subtle differnce keeping in line with the original overall design.

First off I actually do like it. Everyone on here is dissing it, "Oh it looks like (insert here)" and "if I saw it on the street I would bash it" Lets face it most of our cars are over 12 years old and are starting to look a little dated. I am glad some one is making that kit that means others may be on their way. I personally would like to know who makes that kit. Diffrent things look good to diffrent people. I just glad some people have the ***** to go agaist the grain of what is "acceptable" To these people I say keep up the good work.

I'm with ya. I kinda like the looks too, it's different. And everyone else out there has to realize that different people like different things (explains why fat chicks get married). Personally, I wouldn't do it to my car, but if someone else wanted to, I wouldn't stop them. I'm sure the owner of that car likes it and is proud of it, otherwise, the FX wouldn't have stayed on there for long. So some of you need to be a little more openminded about things, because saying you'd destroy SOMEONE ELSE'S car becasue you don't like the ground effects is immature and close-minded.

Umm,,guys,,, do you cut on a 69 camaro or firebird??? do you see someone doing some gimp hack body mods on them ?? No. The reasong being ,,,you leave well enough alone,,,that's what the next style is for,,,upgrades,,, when you have a good thing,,,there's no room for improvement,,,just let it be a classic as it was intended to be.
Realize something,,,our 3rd gens are the new classics,,, we are that old,,, something has to survive,,,hacking to whats hip (import design)is not what made our cars survive,,, it's the timeless looks,,, they are sleek and they will always be. (need example,,,look at porsche,,,,,,,,,)
