I have a 1992 RS and the front ground effect isn't that great looking. No dents, just scratched and some of the bolts on the bottom are torn through. Is there any way I can fix it without having to take it to a shop to get it totally repainted?? Any other options I have? Thanks.

There is no quick fix that I know of. If its baddly torn, it may have to be replaced if it bothers you that much, but the same thing will happen to that one...eventually

I repainted my car myself, so if you have access to painting equipment, repaint it yourself. Other wise just live with it until you can afford it.

I know that a primered front spoiler new.... is about 175-200 range.. dunno bout paint prices

If it is that scratched or if you have paint cracking, you may spend more in labor (time and money) to get it "right" than replace it. I had mine redone from a 1991 Z28. It just had minor scratches on the bottom. To strip and repaint it was near $200.00. Make sure if you have it painted they add that flex-aid.
