Cowl Hood

I'd like to put a cowl hood on my 82 camaro but I'm not sure which one. I'm looking for one that is 2 1/2" or 3". I'm debating whether to go with a fiberglass cowl hood from Harwood or to go with the steel cowl hood from Goodmark Industries. I like the weight savings of fiberglass, but I've heard that fiberglass hoods tend to flex a lot. The Goodmark hood has a full frame and a "functional air plenum." I know it will weigh more but I won't have to worry about it flexing. Also, is this "functional air plenum" just hype or an actual good design?

I'd go steel due to the better fit and finish as well as it being stronger. Fiberglass molds aren't as accurate so gaps could be uneven.

Seeing how performance is average on most cars, weight doesn't matter, and on a looks perspective steel looks better...to me anyway
