has anyone ever used a white tire pen to go over the faded words on your tires? im thinking about doing it to my tires to make them look better... just wondering if the stuff actually works

Before you do that, I'd use something like STP Tire Care (it's a foaming silicone spray) to clean all the gunk off the tires first. Let that dry, and then try the tire pen.

Though I'm more of a fan of all-black tires on a Camaro, but that's just me.

So far the best product I have ever used is Commet ... Yeah thats right powered bleach that you use in your bathroom.. a friend let me in on it back when i was in High schoo,l and nothing, and I mean nothing works better on raised white letters. Try it, and a rough sponge to scrub it in..

The least abrasive and still the best is Simple Green. Wet the tire, spray full concentrate Simple Green on entire tire, let sit 20 seconds and wash with a towel or mit. You'll see the dirt and brake dust start running off within 2 seconds of spraying it.
