SLP's 16inch Firehawk-style wheels...CHEAP?

I saw an SLP ad in the latest Popular Hot Rodding and I was drooling over the 17x9 Firehawk chromes that I cant afford when I noticed a set of 16x8 Firehawk-style polished aluminum wheels for $499/set! $499! I know theyre not any larger than stock but I can actually afford them. Is this right or am I missing something?

for only $699 you get a set of 17" rims
I would rather pay an extra 200 bones for the 17's

They do sell their rims at about those prices. But remember, for 3rd gens, you must run bolt-on spacers at all 4 corners, or at least the fronts if running a 4th gen rear axle.

All of their rims are for standard 4th gen backspacings, different from 3rd gens.

They are on SLPs website, but according to their catalog, they are only for as long as supplies last, so I would guess theyre all gone now anyway. Damnit.
