Relocating A/C
Relocating A/C
Did a search- no luck.
Has anyone relocated their a/c compressor? Im sick of looking at it, and it just takes up way too much space.
I ripped it out of my 91 completely, and regretted it instantly.
Even though pricey, does anyone know of an aftermarket serpentine kit that would allow the compressor to be mounted lower, as well as doing away with the bracet?
Mods, I put this in here for engine apperance/cleanup.

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that
I made the same post last week no one has seemed to have done it. Atleast I am not the only one who thinks its anoying.
I just can't justify removing it. Even here in New England, it gets too hot to not have it. Once i tear apart the engine, Ill see what it takes to make a custom "plate", something like what comes with the procharger kits (i think).
The only other hard part would be making new lines, and running them. I saw that Aeroquip is making soft a/c hoses (steel braided). That would be perfect to tuck the lines along the edge of the engine bay.
Do you have any ideas??
