i'm looking to tint my windows i know nothing about tint. what is the best tint to get, and is there any reason why i dont want tint. i love the way it looks. i have a black 83 z-28 with gold pin strips, yes or no on the tint?

 

Yes on the tint, but don't do it yourself. The tint you can buy is crap. If you could talk a tint shop out of the good tint, it will be almost as much for the tint as for them doing the tint job.

Remember this, tint that is sold to the public is crap. The good tint is not available to the public.

and the stuff that they sell in the store is not that bad, just make sure you get the highest quality level there have.
and make sure that you have at least a twelve pack handy.

try to get 3m tint if you can. It's the only stuff I've found that is garanteed not to turn purple. And purple tint is the worst thing ever.

 

Well in Indiana you can't have it too dark or it's illegal, I found out the hard way. But I don't know where your from. It makes the car look more aggresive.
