18" BMW rims on my RS
These are 18" from my BMW 740 which I have not used in 2 years. I was playing around with them to see how they would fit my Camaro,, what do you think. The last picture is how my RS looks like now with the Centerlines.

I think the BMW rims look so much better than the other ones, no doubt about it.

Hey they are German, they know what is going on
. Those look better then the latest corvette rims imo. They would go better with a diffrent color though I think . A deep dark blue or black.

Pics coming soon
As you can see it started to snow here and I don't drive my RS during the winter, I was just playing around with it. These rims are 18x10 and the fronts are 18x9. The pic you see was a direct bolt on with a 1 1/4 adapter. They fit like an OJ Simson glove. When the weather clears I'll install the whole set and post some pics.

.65mm is about the same amount of change as the distortion you get with a rim when you over-tighten the lug nuts one time.
in other-words, for all practical intents and purposes, they are identical.

bolt pattern wise, they'll bolt up.. however one might run into interference with the wheel when putting on the fronts. Check the diameter of the wheel opening for the hub, which may need to be machined out if you plan on running those wheels.
ps.. the bimmer wheel looks good; I say go for it

yea those are sick...
i was going to go with a set of wheels "designed" for a bimmer but they were 19's with a 3 1/2 in dish. for people that are looking for rims need to search for BMW and there are a ton of options.

Years ago I tried a set of BBS LMs from a beemer friends of mine in 18" and they looked sweet but were off a 325i and tucked way too far in. He was getting rid of them for a couple hundred and that was before I knew about spacers.

Did those rims ever come in different finish options, besides racing silver paint ? Gun metal, chrome, polished, black ?
They do look pretty damn tight though.
And let's face it, it's the overall package that does it, some rims may look awesome on a white 91-92 Z28 while others will look better on an early blue Iroc.

Theres a ton...do a search around ebay. Spacers may or may not be needed in some cases but most Bimmer wheels are the same (close enough) bolt pattern.
