Hood Scoops

Hey does anyone know is and where I can just get the scoop for this hood and putty it on myself. I really don't want to pay $400+ for the whole thing.

And you didnt find this?

Yeah. That's what I thought you meant. If you do some searches you'll see what other people think about it. Basically everyone says it cracks somewhere between a day and a year. If you have the time to fill the cracks and then touch up the paint whenever it happens, fly at 'er, but I dunno.

I guess if you really want to do it that way, you should cut a hole in the hood and push it up through, and then mold it in from the bottom. That way any cracks that form wont be visible unless you're showing it with the hood up, and even then you can make some custom insulation for the hood that would run over the seams.

No I didn't see that. I went to Exterior and searched hood scoop and I never seen that.
