Have you modified your stock 88 IROC rims and have photos's of the results??
(polished, triple polished, chromed, painted, done special detailing, ect)
There's some mighty good posts on this board for proffesional polishing metal. However it would be nice to see what's been done without having to spend a $1000 each for custom wheeeeels....! Nitro

I did multiple searches on 88 IROC rims chromed, detailed, pinstriped, etc and got nothing. If you reread my post you will see that I did do my research and came up with several articles on polishing methods.
I don't need polishing methods for any/all of the generic camaro rims. I am interested in anything fancy anyone has done that is specific to the 88-89 IROC rim.
So unless you have the majic post that shows detailed picture results of every possible idea, you just killed my post for no reason.

I restored mine (85) to a factory-like finish, except that I used a darker shade of gray paint.
I had the wheels sand blasted to strip off the old crap, then I polished the shiny parts, powdercoated them clear, and painted the windows a dark gray.
Pretty soon I think I may upgrade to some 18" IROCs, but painted with the same stock-type setup, or maybe with graphite painted spokes.
