what is the easiest way to remove paint from the wheels? some are faded and i want to repaint them.

 

You need to look at some of the tech articles,there is some that go step by step on removivg paint and cleaning.

 

Aircraft remover. Comes in a can and can be picked up at any auto parts store. Some on this forum have said you can get it in aerosol from Wal-Mart, but aerosol is going to be way too messy IMO. You need to wear long sleeves, long pants, gloves and goggles or glasses when you do this. It burns a little when it gets on your skin. I did it in the middle of summer one year with a t-shirt and shorts and it almost ate me alive. Just wipe it on and wipe it off. It will take the paint or clear coat off of anything.
