cowl under hood liners ?
does anybody make them ? Id like to install one that follows the contours of the cowl and reduces engine noise a bit, pretty much like a factory one, but nicer, im sure i can make one, but i was hoping for one thats i guess was molded or something, any ideas ?

I installed one from the local gm dealer. They are expensive to ship otherwise and you end up paying just as much.
Could you cover a factory liner as a base?

Well there was a thread on here not too long ago on custom under hood liners with logos and stuff on them. I'm sure you could look that up and ask them where they got theirs done.
