Does LED lighting LOOK any different?

I'm really considering switching all my outside lights to LED lighting, but I want to know if they really look any different. Does anyone here have pictures of what they look like in taillights and the marker lights?

I wouldn't think it would look much different. The only reason I would do a LED conversion is to have the blinkers go instantly on/off instead of a fading on and off.

clear lites like license plate lites/backup lites look bluish. bulbs behind amber or red covers look like regular. check with the Jam Strait website(they make led bulbs)-some computers freak out with the low draw bulbs and cause strange problems. led blinkers and tail lites on my '04 F-150 would cause problems with the transmission lockup(unless you use resistors, which they sell). led bulbs do fire noticeably faster that incandescent.

Check out Custom LED Designs for some interesting tail lights. I have the bow tie design on my Camaro and it's a good product. And if it breaks, just send it back and they'll fix it for ya.

Those are sweet. I like the IROC one. I am just curious to how legal those are. Adam :-)
