The absolute best stuff is this purple tire gel, I forget the brand name. But you squeeze a little gel on a sponge and apply it that way. Sure it takes a little more effort, but one application will look good for a long time. And a bottle of the stuff will last forever. The best part is that it's not like normal tireshines that attract dust and spin off. It really works!

The best stuff i have worked with was Meguires tire shine...its a purple gel, smells like candy, and lasts forever almost. I take my Corvette to car shows, and that stuff is what i use for the tires. Even after 3 car washes after the show, its still on the tires and they look good. Its water resistant as far as i know. It doesnt spin off, and lasts a LONG time. Best 7 bucks i ever spent.

I've also used the "purple stuff". What you guys are referring to is Endurance Tire Shine, by Meguires. Kinda pricy ($6 or $7 a bottle), but the stuff lasts a LONG time compared to the regualr stuff.

Yea, thats the stuff right there. It IS pricey, but i'd rather pay the 7 bucks or so and have it last, than get armorall or black magic and have it spin off on my paint and fade off in a few days. Meguires is a good quality product. Everything else i have tried is garbage.

I use TireWax from Turtle wax. It last for quite a while and it doesn't spin off. I have used it for a couple of years now with no complaints. Kinda weird though that it also smells like candy.
