I want the look of the newer Corvettes and GTO's shifter. I like how the leather boot covers all of the shifter. Basically when I get my Pro 5.0, I plan on purchasing a Hurst Sidewinder shifter ball, and want to get a shifter boot that will allow me to do what I want. Anyone else do this (without a console swap)? What kind of shifter boot do I need? Any pictures?

I searched on TGO and see alot of people saying that our shift **** thread size is 16mmx1.5, which is weird because the only shifter **** that year one sells thats a hurst sidewinder with those threads, have a 6-speed pattern on it, which wont work for me. But if you guys say that a 4th gen shifter **** will fit, then that must be right.
