I put the car away for the year in early Sept. this year because with me living a half hour away from where she sleeps every night, I dont get to drive the car that often (gotta drive a half hour just to drive a car?) so I figured I'd get it done early and not have to worry about it. Well Minnesota has been amazingly unseasonably warm....no snow yet, and no salt on the roads. Today it was actually warm out, and since I was visiting the 'rents for Thanksgiving (happy Turkey day to you all btw) I figured, 'what the hell, take her BACK out of storage this year!)....cant say Ive ever done that. So I cruised around and snapped about 200 or so pics....I wont bore you all with them, but here's a couple sunset shots to mark 'the end of the season'....cuz regardless of the weather now, she's done for the year

hah, that's right, we all drive our gas guzzling v8's just enough to warm the earth that our driving season lasts longer, but we still leave the polar ice caps cold enough not to melt and flood the earth. we've got it all figured out.

and to get back on topic, i love the spoiler and ram air hood on your camaro, and that's a great color too/ i love it all.

sadly i have to keep driving my bird until i can get my hands on a winter car! not having money sucks, but i'm not selling my car just so i can have one car to drive all year round, that's just pointless!

Looking good as always bro, mines been sitting untouched in the garage with exception to the occasional move it out to get something from up top or doing something the car needs to be out of teh garage for....and it shows took a bit for the thing to run right taking it up to the rod and custom show tuesday, ran like *** for a few miles till it got blown out i dont like winter

SpeedKnight: there are a few companies...I think ramairhoods.com and possibly ascd, I just know I got mine from fbodymotorsports.com who was a dealer for the hood. Back when I got it, it was close to 700 shipped....I think prices have dropped significantly now. Hood clearance is pretty nice with it

those pictures are great man! is your car lowered? it looks like youve scraped the front gfx piece. have you had problems going up inclines (or declines) with it scraping?

yea it's got a prokit on it, but I've noticed that the front sits more like thirdgens with sportlines than with prokits...dunno how thats happening.

But I've actually been very cautious with inclines and declines and the front...pretty much mastered it, but sometimes you cant see dips in the road, and that explains much of what you see. The bit in the center that goes up a little higher was a result of me not driving the car for a couple months, then being in a hurry at the gas station (so I pulled into the spot forwards instead of backing in like I always do)...misjudged the length of the car, and hit the curb....I was depressed for days after that one

i just did that on my freshly painted front gfx piece also. i hadnt driven the car in a while and i was pulling it into the storage space on thanksgiving and misjudged the length and tapped the front on the 2 vertical I-beams on the wall. it left two knicks there....even though u cant hardly see them i was so mad at myself because its not perfect anymore oh well, there's always touch up paint

ouch...it hurts to hear it just as much as to have it happen to you....unfortunatly touching mine up is a difficult task to match since it's a tri-stage job....though I heard I could either airbrush it, or even use matching nail polish....I think I might just deal with it and get it all repainted when I get out of school (as a present to myself)
