So I bought some matching stock wheels on ebay last week as a spare for my car. The nice person failed to tell me that they have some surface rust on them. Not able to see in a picture!
I was going to polish them anyways in the spring....
Question is:
How do I get the rust off? Will it come off some light surface rust? Or should I sell these and start all over? I'm so mad! Ugghhh....Anyone know any good products or applications? I did a search but nothing came up
Thanks, Shawn

If you are going to polish the wheels I don't think that you will need to worry about the rust. You will have to remove the clear coat finish on the wheels anyway, and that is where the iron deposits from the brakes is embedded. Once the clear coat is gone should be no problem!
