questions about painting my cowl ?
Do i paint the hood before i install it, or should i paint it while it's on the car ? it's going to be professionally painted if that makes a diffrence ?
Paint it after the installation. Makes it a little easier to blend into the fenders and nose.

if you paint it off the car its a lot easier to do the painting, especially on the sides and underneath if you are goin that route, that way you dont have to tape the whole car up to paint the hood, unless the colors are completely missmatched...

Umm, if its a brand new hood... install it first, fit it and all that, and use it like that so it adjusts to your engine temps and all that...
last I knew if you didn't do that you could screw up the paint because the hood hasn't adjusted or whatever...
run it unpainted for a week, remove it to have the underside painted (if you have to do that or want to) then put it back on and have it painted so you can match the colors easier
n stuff
