Need Help On A Hood

Ok I cant make my mind up on a hood the two I have in mind is the ramair or the ss camaro. I dont think I have seen to many ss hoods on the board or around here. I have a 2in cowl on it now but getting tired of the look I see them all the time now. So if anyone has pics with the ss hood post it up please. it's going on a white camaro.Or some reasons I should stay from one hood. Thanks

I'd be scared of American Sports Car Design right now
They just switched ownership.
I bought an SS hood awhile back and it ended up being no good ( the driver's side sticks up like 3/8ths of an inch where the hinge goes and then it dives down in the front. I've been trying to get it resolved for almost a month and still nothing sooo.........

'm pretty sure all the acsd ss hoods have the driver side hump in them it was a mold flaw that was never fixed. that's what i've read and seen on many occasions. Not positive just what ive been told by many people.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Pontiac hoods belong on Pontiac cars. RamAir hoods is a no no for Camaro owners.

My hood doesn't have the regular little hump on the drivers side, I've seen all the pictures, it's far worst. it sticks up above the fender for a span of 18" and then has a little wave and dives down so that at the nose it is down a half inch. And it's not my car ( It's been checked on aframe rack and other hoods have been fitted on it to make triple sure ).

I want a hood that serves some purpous not just for looks. The hood I have now I am just getting tired of the cowl hood look. Every where you turn someone has one on something. So with that said that is why I thought about the ram air!

The SS hood could be made into a functional ram air hood, if you have the right intake.
