Does that make polish and glaze the same thing?

I use glaze to fill swirl marks then wax it. I guess polish would be glaze, or is it more of a wax???

Very simple: Polish doesn't have wax in it. Wax is wax, and polish is some sort of protecant other than wax. "Cleaner" waxes/polishes or any sort of glaze uses abrasives to remove small amounts of paint.
